Since 2006, Lyn Donovan’s Coastal Maine Art Workshops, has offered 5 day plein air and studio-based painting classes in watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics and pastels in Rockland and Belfast, (tho no longer abroad, as it did for the last five years.) Taught by nationally and internationally known instructors from early July to mid Oct, workshops attract students here from around the world, Building on an established 25 history, the program has enhanced its long time reputation for top-tier instruction and terrific scenery, by providing abundant support before and during a workshop, so instructors and students can spend all their time teaching or learning...and as of this year, 2019, we have superlative studio spaces in both locations, all of which bring students back again and again!
